In a heartfelt gesture, award-winning actress and philanthropist, Idia Aisien, has made a difference for children in need. Through her foundation, the International Development Initiative in Africa Project (I.D.I.A Project), Idia donated essential school supplies to about 100 students at Ayodele Nursery and Primary School in Ajegunle, Lagos.
A Collaboration to Support Young Learners
On Friday, September 20th, 2024, the I.D.I.A Project partnered with the Pink Food Bank Foundation for a back-to-school drive. The goal? To support students as they begin their new school term. The initiative provided school bags, water bottles, food flasks, and stationery. For many kids, this was more than just supplies. Children who had been carrying their belongings in plastic bags were excited to receive proper school bags. Nursery students also got water bottles and food flasks to make their school days easier.
Euphorique PR’s Role in the Success
Euphorique PR played a key role in making this event a success. We coordinated the partnership between I.D.I.A Project and Pink Food Bank Foundation. Euphorique PR also handled volunteer coordination and communication management. Our team ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing both organizations to focus on giving back to the community.
Committed to Education and a Brighter Future
This initiative reflects Idia Aisien’s passion for education. It aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), which aims to ensure quality education for all. Through the I.D.I.A Project, Idia provides essential resources to children who might not have access to them otherwise.
“I’ve always been passionate about kids,” Idia said during the event. “Now, more than ever, I believe we need to come together to make sure every child has access to a good education.”
Creating Lasting Change
Idia’s commitment goes beyond this single event. Through the I.D.I.A Project, she is building a future where children are supported and given the tools they need to thrive.
The students of Ayodele Nursery and Primary School now face the new school year with fresh supplies and a renewed sense of confidence. Knowing that someone cares about their education makes a lasting difference in their lives.
