On Thursday, January 23rd, 2025, the IDIA Project kicked off the year with an impactful visit to Pacelli School for the Blind in Surulere, Lagos. More than just an act of giving, this initiative demonstrates the organisation’s long-term commitment to creating lasting change.

During the visit, the IDIA Project donated essential items specifically designed to enhance the students’ learning experience and independence. These included:

• Guide canes to support mobility
• Writing frames and styluses for Braille literacy
• A public address system

A Vision for Collaboration

Speaking about the visit, Idia expressed her admiration for the school’s work and emphasized the importance of future collaborations:

“We really admire the great work that the Catholic Church and the school administrators have done with the school and how they are helping the children become more self-sufficient, even more so now that we know this is a tuition-free school. We are dedicated to collaborating with the school to make impactful change for its students, and this is just an introductory visit to set the tone for more collaborations.”
