Shades of Life Foundation (SOLF)

The foundation raises funds for less-privileged families who have children with autism, but can’t afford the requisite intervention therapies.

As a means of amplifying awareness about Autism, SOLF in collaboration with Cyclotron Cycling Initiative, held an event tagged #Ride4Autism which took place during Autism Awareness Month in April 2023.

The event brought together over 50 cyclists who rode about 50 kilometers within the Gbagada and Ikeja axis to raise awareness about autism and advocate for inclusivity in society. After the ride, an after-session was held, in which the Shades of Life team, Cyclotron cyclists, press, and other invited guests conferred, discussing the past, present, and future of autism awareness, acceptance and inclusion in Nigeria.

Euphorique formulated the brand positioning and PR strategy for #Ride4Autism.

We kicked off the campaign on social media, with the SOLF and Cyclotron teams, creating and posting multiple videos (under our creative direction) about why they choose to “ride for” and advocate for Autism.

The social media campaign culminated in the #ride4autism event.

To publicize the event, we successfully brokered media partnerships, which enabled the foundation to get promotional media features for free in some instances, and at extremely subsidized rates for others. This enabled widespread publicity for the event and the foundation.
